3 Reasons Why I Let God All Up In My Business

When I let God all up in my business…

He gives me a sound mind so that I can work on my businesses with no distractions. I had a REAL problem with concentrating on my tasks. Next thing I know, I’m all the way in the deep end browsing through clearance items on Target’s website!

I know, right?

I could be working on my lesson plan for an ASL class, then a few moments later I remember where I put a shirt I was looking for. I’ll then go get my shirt and find myself cleaning or something.

Distractions are nothing to play with, ya’ll.

I had to pray and ask God to show me how to stay focused on my current tasks instead of jumping around to about 20 tasks and never getting anything done.

I used to beat myself up because I couldn’t stop watching the next episode of a series on Netflix. I would always say, “Aww man! That ended so abruptly! Let me just watch one more episode…”

You know how that goes.

I had to ALLOW God to come and be all up in my business so that He could show me where I was messing up.

He keeps me in check. God has a way of reminding you of who you are and why you were created. Sometimes we have those moments when we see people who are achieving things that we haven’t [YET] and start to feel inferior or unworthy to do what we do.

Ya’ll know that’s the devil, right?

Don’t feed into the negativity. You are who God says that you are. He gave you a Divine assignment and will give you everything that you need for your assignment.

Another way that God puts me in check is by His reminders. Yes, His verbal reminders. When you have a relationship with him and literally talk to Him about everything, God will talk back to you.

ALL the time.

Even when we don’t even want to hear His voice.

There will be times when I’m like, “Ugh, for real God? Do I really have to!?”

His response, “YES”.

Just as clear as day.

Don’t believe me? Try it.

Because of His reminders, I get more done. He gives me that push to do things even when I don’t feel like it.

In other words, God is my spiritual accountability partner.

I do have accountability partners that help me spiritually and business-wise and I suggest that you have yours. However, there is nothing like having the ULTIMATE accountability partner.

He protects me.  Have you ever been in a situation where you were upset because an opportunity was taken by someone else or there was some weird reason why something didn’t happen?

Did it ever occur to you that there was a Reason behind it?

I’ve learned and witnessed for myself that God will keep you from personal and business disasters. So when something doesn’t go as planned, remember that everything is in Divine order and that God may have shut that door for a reason. Some things are just not meant to be and in order to stay sane, you have to be okay with that.

Send me a note and let me know how you let God all up in your business!
